As I was cooking the other day and I didn’t know that the white part of my eye (sclera) would be hit by a splash of the cooking oil. I was far the skillet but the splashes were all over. Also, I was wondering why it had splashes when in fact the fire was very low. Anyway, at first, I felt the itch. I thought, it’s just the skin or anywhere near my eyes. When I looked at the mirror, I’ve seen something on the sclera which indicates that it’s being damaged. It bothered me for several hours though. But right now, it seems my eye’s okay (no itch or pain). I will just observe this. Good thing the oil didn’t hit the center of my eye or else, I would be having a hard time seeing now! *sigh*
