I am teaching my baby to say please get instead of whining on anything he wants me to pick up for him and say thank you after receiving it. And right now, he is learning that words. So, every time he wants something, he will say that words with matching the word baby at the end.

And last night, while I was changing his clothes, he’s counting numbers. When he’s dressed up, he said please get clock – baby. My understanding with what he said was that please get clock for baby (baby means himself). I said to him that I can’t get the clock since it’s not a toy. But he kept on repeating those words over and over. I just ignored him for I know that he will forget it since it’s not a big issue.

Hmmm, what a cute baby! He is learning a lot now that he is almost 3 years old! He can read letters A-Z, count numbers 1-20, identify shapes, can say the names of some drawings and a lot more! He is also mechanically inclined since he loves wheels, computers, screws and more. He is also a polite baby though he is so spoiled.

It’s sleeping time for my baby but before I put him in his crib, I identified to him that he’s holding the letter P. And it’s the start of the name of my father (who is his grandfather). When he tried to repeat after me, I decided to call my parents at home so that they can hear my baby spoke their names! My father was so lucky that he was able to hear baby spoke his name, mama’s name and Lola Nesia’s name (great grandmother) plus the ABCs with the counting 1 to 20. And papa can’t help it but laugh a lot! When mama arrived, she just listened a portion of what baby mumbles since baby was tired and sleepy. But I know soon, they will be able to talk to my baby when he will grow bigger.

And I’m hoping that someday soon, me and my baby can have our passports. I’m hoping that our whole family can have our vacation in PH. But I guess it takes years as it is not easy to have a vacation since it will cost a lot and we need to save more for it. Nothing we can do but to wait for the right time!
